bio
Brett Aaron is a Calgary-based songwriter and guitarist making guitar-driven Americana rooted in feel, tone, and space. His sound blends roots, blues, and Americana with a strong focus on dynamics and expressive playing.
The music leans as much on groove as it does tradition, pairing lyrical guitar work with honest, personal songwriting.
His upcoming album Save Myself moves further into a groove-forward, band-driven take on Americana—drawing from roots, blues, and classic tones while staying grounded in song-first writing.
Co-Produced with Ron A. Mcneill, the record was recorded between Blackbird Studios in Nashville, TN and Audiohouse Studios in Calgary, AB. The record features Allison Prestwood, Greg Morrow, and an appearance by Colin Linden.
